Carbon - Piemonte

The Carbon – Piemonte Living Lab is a collaborative network involving researchers, farmers, public and private entities, companies, and other stakeholders in the Piedmont region, aimed at developing innovative agricultural practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance carbon sequestration, with a particular focus on the carbon topic. The living lab promotes the optimization of carbon use in agriculture by employing advanced technologies. Lighthouse farms, technologically advanced agricultural enterprises, work with researchers to conduct large-scale experiments, known as On Farm Experimentation (OFE). These experiments allow for testing and implementing practical solutions in real-world settings.
