In Piedmont, agriculture faces critical challenges related to the sustainable use of energy, aiming to reduce production costs and minimize environmental impact. To address these needs, the Energy – Piemonte living lab focused on the energy topic has been established. This model serves as a strategic approach, creating a collaborative network involving researchers, farmers, and various stakeholders, all working together to develop and disseminate innovative practices and technologies to optimize energy use in agriculture.
